WHO WE ARE:
Lloyd Gordon (MCIAT) of House Of Designs By Lloyd has a strong passion for architecture. He is fascinated with the study of buildings and the manipulation of the spaces within structures. Producing great architecture and exceeding clients’ expectations is at the foundation of this small practice.
Lloyd takes full advantage of natural light whenever possible. His work combines the use of modern technologies, and he strives to minimise the impact on the environment.

Regular, timely and clear two-way communication with every client is the key to propelling your projects to completion. We listen to our clients to ensure that their vision is realised by committing to their needs and addressing any concerns.

A ‘Design & Build’ facility is available on all our projects (regardless of size) which includes us project managing to completion. Lloyd’s assistant, Rhianna, is a great asset to the practice. Her role involves the detailed Laser measured surveys and sketches of the existing properties and site layouts.
Lloyds interest in architecture spurs on his drive for professional development. Lloyd has over 36 years’ experience working in the construction industry which includes two years working in Germany where he learned about new technologies.
 
WHAT WE DO:
Projects range from house and apartment designs, and domestic extensions to commercial designs, loft conversions, and change of use applications. We produce 2D, 3D, and rendered drawings; we can also present to clients in a ‘VR’ (virtual reality) environment.

Our goal remains to guide our clients smoothly through every moment through to completion of the project: through the design, planning, and building regulation stages. Lloyd has been involved in over 172 projects, and his success rate for gaining planning permission is 98%.
 
THE FUTURE:
Our main objective is to support our clients on domestic, residential, and commercial projects. We will continue to serve the wider community with work with and for community centres, charities, and other good causes.

Our target is to engage in mentoring and encourage others to become as interested in the study of architecture and the built environment as we are. Our involvement in interesting and innovative projects will, we think, continue the company’s expansion.
